Brightwork was born as a syndicate of award-winning marketers, creatives and analysts who would bring their particular brand of excellence to anyone with a cause and a budget – mercenary-style.

Over time though, we’ve focused our offerings – and our team – in order to bring performance-driven solutions to a few specialized areas. Today, tenant marketing is one of our core businesses.

Brightwork was founded by Mike Giambattista. He is the Managing Director and is the chief strategist for our real estate clients. Mike is a veteran of both the Commercial Real Estate and Advertising worlds having spent his early post-college years as a leasing agent for some of Miami’s then-most prominent Class A office buildings and later as Vice President of Marketing for a large regional property management company.

Several years later, Mike had transitioned from real estate marketing into general marketing & advertising leading teams of creative talent into award-winning campaigns for several large media companies.

Today he is a dedicated husband and father and, with the help of Nick Dykert as Director of Operations, is focused on building tenant rosters and asset values through the entire spectrum of marketing & media channels.

Nick Dykert grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan in Holland, Michigan. From an early age he learned about real estate from his parents, who would flip residential properties in West Michigan. He graduated in 2003 from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a bachelor’s degree in Business-Communications.

Nick worked for IBM as a software trainer directly out of college, traveling extensively to assist in the setup of custom software. He has also worked in management and sales and brings these skills to BrightWork.

Nick is recently married, an avid sailor, and loves music of all kinds. With Tenant Marketing, Nick is focused on day-to-day operations and bringing new levels of excellence to client relationships, processes and service.
